Best Local Heritage Story/Song/Image

The Festival will award a 1st place prize of $500 and a chance to publish in the Lindsay Advocate and a 2nd place prize of $200 for the best original flash story (up to 1,000 words) that speaks to Kawartha Lakes heritage. (Double spaced. Please do not put your name on the writing as it will be judged blind.)
The Festival will award a 1st place prize of $500 and a 2nd place prize of $200 for the best original song (please attach lyrics separately) about Kawartha Lakes heritage to be aired at the event and a chance to perform at the event.
The Festival will award a 1st place prize of $500 and a chance to hang the piece at the Kawartha Lakes Art Gallery and a 2nd place prize of $200 for best image of the event, any medium, to be composed at the event.
